Jamey comes to us from the Vermont Natural Resources Council (VNRC), where for the past two decades, he has served as Forest and Wildlife Program Director and General Counsel. Jamey built his early-career experience in Colorado, working on land, biodiversity, and watershed protection efforts with Pitkin County, the Aspen Wilderness Workshop, and Public Counsel of the Rockies. His work is grounded in a deep academic foundation that blends legal, scientific, and policy expertise: he holds a Juris Doctor and a Master鈥檚 in Environmental Law from Vermont Law School as well as a Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Environmental Studies with a minor in Wildlife Biology from the University of Vermont.
In reflecting on this new role, Jamey shared: 鈥淲e are so fortunate to live in a beautiful state that cherishes its forests, birds, biodiversity, and diverse wildlife habitat. It is an honor to be stepping into this role with the talented staff at 探花精选 Vermont.
