Marco Carbone serves as ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡â€™s Chief Technology Officer. In this role Marco leads teams across Information Technology, Data, Digital Products, and Business Systems, focusing on driving operational efficiency and security, spearheading enterprise transformation, and building digital experiences and data ecosystems to grow ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡â€™s audiences and communities. He champions data-informed decision-making and governance, ensuring technology initiatives align with organizational goals and appropriately mitigate risk. Marco is the sponsor of several efforts to explore and implement AI initiatives throughout ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡, guiding emerging technologies to be harnessed in support of strategic goals.

Prior to joining ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ in 2019, Marco served seven years at the ACLU. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Tufts University and a master’s degree from Harvard University.
