Born and raised in the sunny San Fernando Valley, Chelsea has always had a natural curiosity and love for urban ecology. From joining reforestation efforts in Armenia to conducting scuba surveys in SoCal’s kelp forests, Chelsea is passionate about conservation in a variety of ecosystems. She is interested in all branches of ecology, but is especially interested in environmental justice, mycology, California native plants, and birding.
