I support birds and the places they depend on by creating welcoming, community-rooted experiences that invite people to slow down, listen, and enter into a relationship with the living world around them. My work is shaped by lineage, I come from generations of land stewards and fisherfolk in the Philippines, people who knew the tides, seasons, and winds by heart. Their reverence for water and place guides the way I move through the forest, the way I listen for birds, and the way I hold space for community. One of my deepest passions is supporting people in their re-membering to Land and Waters, helping them rebuild a relationship rooted in love, reciprocity, and curiosity. I believe that when people feel a sense of belonging with the natural world, they carry that relationship forward, becoming future protectors of the places and beings they’ve come to care for. I’m most alive when I’m outdoors with others, witnessing the spark that happens when someone hears a bird’s call or catches the bright flicker of a wing. Those moments of wonder, especially for communities that haven’t always been welcomed into outdoor spaces, are what root me. With a background in early childhood education, community engagement, and cultural connection, I hope to help people meet birds with joy and a deep sense of belonging to this Land and to one another.
