Rowe Sanctuary is located in Gibbon, Nebraska, approximately 25 minutes away from Kearney, Nebraska.
Head east on Interstate 80 (I-80).
Take Exit 285 (Gibbon)
Exit I-80 at Exit 285 toward Gibbon.
Drive south from the exit
After exiting, turn south (right) on Lowell Road and go about 2 miles.
Turn onto Elm Island Road
Turn west (right) onto Elm Island Rd.
Follow Elm Island Road to the sanctuary.
During Crane Season (March & April), our parking lot has restricted hours to minimize disturbance to the cranes.
The parking lot is open during business hours: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Guests with Reservations should check in at the front gate with the attendant.
